This one is long though!

Oh My God! I am impressed with all the kids! So adorable! Their cleverness, their leadership, their confident, their passionate. Oh My God! That was something unexpected though! HAHAHA!!!

All right, Yesterday I went to KL Krashpad, located in Chow Kit. It is a place where secondary school students can come and hangout while having fun and beneficial activities. Some of them are refugees which is undocumented, some come from a very unfortunate family, some are kids around the area itself. Some of them did not go to school because they are refugees and as we knows refugees are not registered in our country, they are only registered under UNCHR. So, they are unable to go to school. Some of them does go to school and get proper education but they come from a family which we called urban poor. KL Krashpad is such a very good platform for this teenagers to shape themselves into a better person and making sure they are not expose to the cruelty of the outside world that they may not understand what kind of place that is. Thanks Yayasan Chow Kit providing such facilities for this children. You can google more if you want to know further details about KL Krashpad!

What I would like to talk about today is not about KL Krashpad. What I would like to talk about today is the children there. To be honest, they does not even looks like how their background are. Imagine this kids are brilliant, really love knowledge, love learning, wanted to go to school but they don't have the chances! But, when they get this opportunity to learn so so many things, they do it passionately, never bored with it, never feel forced with it, they want to do it because this is something new for them. They does not even showed that they hate the activities that we conducting either even though the topic was quite heavy even for us law students. HAHAHA. But hey, they can speak in English better than law students you know?!

All right! The topic that we brought to them was Consumer's Rights. Not easy isn't it? Even we are struggling while researching about it. But I'm so impress of how genius they are, they can understand the mini lecture that we conclude in our activities very well. I thoughts it will be hard for them and they had to struggle a bit to understand the topic but and just 10 minutes, they get the point of what we was delivering. Oh my God kids, please enroll to UM. HAHAHA.

One other activities that we done with them is Role Play. This activities required them to act the situation given according to their respective groups. And we the educators will advice them, (cewah advice, bukan legal advice ehh) on how to make the situation given well presented in their acting. But you know what? We don't have to do that! This kids already knew what they suppose to do and they are such a very fast thinkers as in just 10 minutes, a scene had been directed! Here, I salute their leadership. One of the group have a boy who I think the oldest and he take the responsibility to instruct the team and his instruction are in a very good manner and sounds so supportive. I amazed. Not just that, during other activities we conduct, they don't have hesitation to ask question, they are not afraid of asking stupid question, (like some of us including me. Sometimes) they are so courage to speak up and express their opinion. Oh my God. Guys, imagine they are not even 17 yet. Most of them are below 15 though! Keep it up babes! You guys are wonderful!

Oh yeah not forgotted how talented they are! I could most of them can be a good actor and actress though! Feeling betul berlakon walaupun simple jer. Dah lah dialog spontan! Power ahh! Sis is bangga!!! Meh join Mock Trial ! Karviter ke HAHAHA.

Yeah, that is one of their character. Another one that I admire about them is their confident level. Wei this kids supporting habes serius! Kita yang dah besar pun malu nak berlakon walaupun benda simple, tapi diorang lek jer berlakon. And imagine they just used whatever prop they have. To be honest we laugh a lot during the role play because they are freaking hilarious! Oh I'm dead in laugh at the moment HAHAHA. Their spontaneous dialogues, expression and acting, oh my God! The most wonderful is, they understand how to deliver the message through the acting according to what we taught them which is consumer's right. Good job peeps! Never thought you guys are so great as that, now I know and I am so proud of all of you!

I am speechless actually. I keep repeating the same words because I couldn't find the best words to describe you guys! :D I hope to meet you guys again. I mean it.

Is that long enough for this post! I want to say many other things but well, if you want to know more and if you don't believe what I said, you can go check it by your own.

Here come the sad part. Oh my God! Two hours is too short! We need more time! Tak puaslah waaa! Kejap je dah pukul 6? Nak balik dah haa...

We wrap up the day with hugs and kisses. They do the 'tepuk-tepuk terima kasih' to us and I felt very appreciated. This is the very first time people did that to me. Happy, excited, amazed and of course, sad. We are living. Some of them even said "Jumpa lagi" to us, I'm sad. Some of them already look sad. No more cheers in their face. Maybe realizing that we are living and we not going to meet them again in a short period of time. I almost burst into tears. but looking at their strong condition, I also have to be strong for them.

I found out that you guys are coming to Fiesta Hari Terbuka Astar. I really hope I can meet you guys again here!

Love, your educator ( hope I educate you guys well) -Kak Jiha.
